Research Cell

The Research Cell was established in the year 1989, for the smooth conduction of Research activities, their liaison and coordination with funding agencies etc. Since then, all the activities viz; Sanction of Intramural Grant, Managing Extramural Grants, Constitution of various committees such as Research Committee, Institutional Ethics Committee, Animal Ethics committee, Award Committees etc. has given the ideal platform to the researchers of this Institute, which has significantly contributed towards the progress of research and publications in the institute. Currently SGPGIMS is known as one of the premier Medical Intuition for its excellence in Research at both National and International label.

CIRCULAR: All Principal Investigators/Guides/ Ph.D. students are requested that if they have any issue/suggestion related to the Research Administration/Research Accounts section, they can meet physically every Wednesday from 1.00 PM to 2.00 PM. in the Office of the Faculty I/c Research.
