The CMT was started in July 2018 with 12 courses, including 9 B.Sc and 3 M.Sc. courses. These courses were duly approved by the Academic Board and the 51st governing body.
The aim of the College of Medical Technology and Allied Health Sciences has been to create paramedical and allied health sciences manpower in the state of Uttar Pradesh, as well as in the country. The CMT & AHSc. is the only paramedical institute in the state which runs B.Sc. and M.Sc. level courses in U.P., while the other institutes award diploma courses only.
The CMT & AHSc. is managed by a Managing Committee, and each course is headed and conducted by an institute faculty as a Course Coordinator. All the academic courses have been approved by the individual Board of Studies. The Institute has sanctioned 125 seats, and at present, at total of 119 students are pursuing the 3 years B.Sc. and 2 years M.Sc. courses. The first batch of 6 M.Sc. students will be passing out soon. The practical classes are conducted by institutional faculty and technical staff. Guest faculty is also involved in complementing the teaching.
