Alumni

Over the last 3 decades, lots of residents/ students/scholars have walked through the corridors of this great organization and reached great heights. A robust training program, a family-like bonding within the department and hostels, sprawling campus with its lush green forest like look, is what SGPGI had to offer to all. Most of the erstwhile trainees continue to remain nostalgic about these unique aspects of SGPGI. The rigorous training at SGPGI, with emphasis on basics, clinical and scientific research, has stood in good stead for all, and many brilliant career graphs, is a testimony to that.

It is with these thoughts that an Alumni cell has been created by our esteemed Director Prof. RK Dhiman (one of the first alumnus of SGPGI), and our dynamic Dean Prof. SK Mishra. They believe that the Alumni are the true ambassadors of any organization, and have the potential to contribute immensely to the growth and the visibility of the Institute, since they continue to have a professional and an emotional connection with the organization, which they call as their Alma Mater.

Keeping with this tradition SGPGIMS has now created a formal alumni association with specific Aim and Objective .
