SGPGI beyond academics and curricula
I take this opportunity to applaud the efforts of
individuals such as Mr. Ajay Singh, staff nurse in
Department of Clinical Immunology and
Rheumatology, who voluntarily provided food to
the migrants and poor, during lockdown period.
Several individuals, teams and departments need
to be appreciated and thanked, for reaching out to
people and providing financial assistance to the
poor.

My special thanks to Prof V K Kapoor, who chose
Doordarshan as a medium to enlighten and dispel
myths of the lay public about COVID and its
impact on the health of people; To give direction
to the faculty and residents by moderating
focused Clinical Grand Rounds on various
aspects of Corona virus infection; to keep that the
young minds of the campus mentally stimulated
during these difficult times, he organized on-line
quiz on Gandhiji on Gandhi Jayanti and
Ramayan quiz on the occasion of Dussehra.
