The Team
Medical Genetics Team: Trained for Patient Care in Twenty First Century
Medical Genetics department at SGPGIMS has contributed greatly in ushering India into the era of molecular medicine. The department constitutes a team of knowledgeable, intelligent and compassionate faculty trained to take care of patients and their families with genetic disorders. The department has clinicians and basic scientists working together to provide the state-of-the-art services in pre and postnatal diagnostics and management including genetic counseling. Combination of academic activities and research helps to enhance patient care. The faculty and students put their hearts in the services and patient care is the religion of the department.

Ph D program in Medical genetics – Working in research & academics settings in india & abroad.

- DBT funded ‘Training of Inservice clinicians from Govt. Hospitals and outreach programme for aspirational districts'.
- Telemedicine Meetings.
- Short term training for M Sc / M Tech students.
