1. Awarded Dr. B. R Memorial Best MCh thesis award for thesis on “Study of nose deformity in cleft lip” in 1997 submitted for MCh plastic surgery examination.

2. Awarded Best Academic Young Faculty of the year university award at the 3rd Convocation of the university in 2007.

3. Awarded “College Blue” for the best all round performance in studies and sports in 1990.

4. Best intramural project poster award for the best research work done on the intraumural project entitled “Device development and clinical application for craniofacial distraction” awarded at Research Showcase – CSMMU UP 2007.

5. K.B Kunwar Memorial Gold Medal given by the U.P Chapter of the Indian MedicalAssociation for the best paper presented.

6. Mr. H.G.D Srivastava Memorial Prize for the best paper presented given by KunwarMemorial Foundation.

7. Awarded the Dr. R. K Garg Memorial best paper award by the Uttar Pradesh Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India for the best thesis on “The role of liposuction and dermolipectomy in body sculpturing”.

8. Association of Plastic Surgeons of India(APSI) Travelling Sponsorship - 1995 givenby the Association of Plastic Surgeon’s of India.

9. Association of Plastic Surgeons of India “Best Paper Prize” for the paper “Primary correction of cleft lip nose deformity” at the National Conference held at Calcutta from September 10-16, 1998.

10. Association of Plastic Surgeons of India “Kammath Memorial Best Poster Prize” for the paper entitled “Nasal sill augmentation in adult incomplete cleft lip nose deformity using superiorly based turnover orbicularis oris muscle flap: An anatomical approach” at the 33rd National Conference of APSI held at Calcutta from Sep.10-16, 1998.

11. Awarded the(INSA) Indian National Science Academy medal for young scientist in 1999 in recognition of the innovative work on surgery of nose deformities. This award carries a medal and cash prize.

12. Awarded Owen Cole Scholarship given by the Scientific Committee of the 8th International Congress on Cleft Palate and Related Anomalies in Singapore in September 1999.

13. Awarded Fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery in USA at the International Craniofacial Institute, Dallas, Texas (1999-2000).

14. Awarded Owen Cole Scholarship for the Second time given by the Australian Cleft lip and palate foundation and the Scientific Committee of the 9th International Congress on Cleft Palate and Related Anomalies held at Goteborg, Sweden from June 24 to June 29, 2005.

15. Awarded American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons / Plastic Surgery Education Foundation International scholarship for 2006-2007.

16. Awarded American Society of Surgeons International Guest scholarship for 2013.

17. Awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2014

18. Awarded the ICMR senior scientist fellowship for visiting the Department of Plastic Surgery at John Hopkins Medical University, Baltimore in 2015
