    • The department also has a PhD training program. Prospective candidates must have MSc or MBBS degree and must pass an open competitive examination/interview. PhD students too undergo rigorous training programme in basic areas of their specialty. Neurochemistry laboratory has facilities for conducting experimental stereotactic surgery and evaluation of biochemical markers, viz. neurotransmitters, exitotoxins, etc.
