Immunoassay (RIA, IRMA, ELISA, and chemiluminescence) facilities for most hormones used routinely in endocrine practice are available in-house. In addition, more specialized assays (25-hydroxy D3, beta-cross laps and P1NP) are available. Tests for diabetes include HbA1c, urine microalbumin, GAD and IA2 antibody. Hologicdual energy x-ray bone densitometer for estimation of bone density, body fat distribution and instant vertebral assessment (IVA) is available for patient and research use.

Wednesday: General Endocrinology (adult and pediatric)

Thursday: General Endocrinology (adult and pediatric) Diabetes clinic

Friday: General Endocrinology (Pediatric), Diabetes; type I diabetes (1st and 3rd Friday) ; Gestational diabetes mellitus (2nd and 4th); Metabolic bone disorders (2nd and 4th Friday)

Saturday: Type 1 diabetes; Transition Young diabetes mellitus clinic (2nd Saturday)

Monday to Saturday: Pediatric diabetes (new patients).
