I completed my MBBS from King George''s Medical College in 2002. After completing my internship, I got selected in the PGIMER, Chandigarh for my post graduation in general surgery. I had a short stint as a Senior Medical Officer at PGIMER, Chandigarh which I left to join MCh at SGPGIMS, Lucknow. After completing my MCh, I joined fellowship in Paediatric Neurosurgery at SGPGIMS for one year followed by another fellowship in skull base and spine at SGPGIMS, Lucknow. I joined as an assistant professor in the department of neurosurgery at SGPGIMS in the year 2013. My area of interest is skull base neurosurgery, vascular neurosurgery and spinal surgery. I also specialize in minimally invasive neurosurgery for both cranial and spinal surgery. We have developed epilepsy surgery program alongwith endoscopic spine surgery program at our centre. We also routinely operate spinal deformity surgeries. I have nearly 200 publications to my name including 30 book chapters. My h-index is 20 and i10 index is 46. I have performed nearly 2500 surgeries
