MD Anaesthesiology courses are being run in the Department from the late 90’s. Initially starting with two candidates per year, the number rose to 4 and since 2018, 16 students are inducted every year for MD Anaesthesiology training.
Carefully designed Post Doctoral CertificateCourses (PDCC) in the department were for Cardiac anesthesia, Neuroanaesthesia, Transplant anesthesia and Interventional Pain Management which enhanced the academic environment of the department and positively impacted the experience of residents at all levels of the program. These programs were structured toward long-term goals in education so that residents become future leaders in academic and clinical anesthesiology programs worldwide.
Since 2018, the course have been converted to 2 Years Post Doctoral Advanced Fellowship (PDAF).
