Dr. Amrit Gupta is presently serving as Additional Professor,Department of Maternal and Reproductive Health in Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. Dr. Amrit graduated (MBBS) from the Gajra Raja Medical College,Gwalior, India and received her M.S. in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Jiwaji University Gwalior.Further training was sponsored by Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynecologists at different centres in U.K., following which I did my visiting research fellowship U.K. Since then serve in capacity of Senior, resident, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor in the speciality of Obstetrics and Gynecology at various institutes and hospitals. Clinical responsibilities go hand in hand with teaching, research and administrative work.
Her main areas of interest include high risk pregnancies with maternal and fetal concerns, Reproductive Endocrinology and infertility management, Preventive Oncology with fertility preserving concerns. She is a member of many reputed national and international bodies and actively participates in their activities.
