Brief Resume

He has a special interest in Coagulation and bleeding disorders, thus I underwent training for the same in CMC Vellore. Subsequently, I upgraded the facilities at our centre and is also regularly conducting similar Coagulation workshops for training of faculty, students and technicians, of the neighbouring Institute's in laboratory work-up of hemophilia in the association of World Federation of Hemophilia. The Coagulation laboratory at SGPGI, is currently offering all major diagnostic facilities for bleeding and thrombotic disorders. I am also involved in the up-gradation of hemophilia care under the project "Strategies towards Comprehensive Hemophilia Care Services in Uttar Pradesh". Currently, I am working on a project "Laboratory diagnosis pf atypical HUS and TTP, and in process of establishing these diagnostic facilities for patients of HUS/TTP and atypical HUS at our centre, which are overall available in very few centers in India. We are conducting regular Workshop in "Laboratory Diagnosis of Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders" in association of World Federation of Hemophilia for Pathologist and Lab technicians.
