Department of Head & Neck Surgery

Department of Head & Neck Surgery was established on 21st September 2022, by 96th Governing Body of Institute as 1st Head & Neck Surgery Department of Uttar Pradesh. Dr Amit Keshri, Additional Professor, Neuro-otology was made 1st acting Head of Department On 24th September 2022.

Final approval of DPR with sanction of Faculty members and Senior Residents post by UP Government was done in November 2024. The Department started its Clinical services under Prof Amit Keshri as founding Head of Department from June 2025 with 4 Faculty Members and 5 senior residents. The Department will give patient care in field of both benign and malignant tumors of Ear, Nose, throat, and Head & Neck region.

Department has expertise and will also be treating complex cases in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck surgery including skull base surgery and Implantation Otology. Evidence bases Multidisciplinary treatment of these diseases will be done in consultation with various departments and units of Institute for the best outcomes in patient care.
